Welcome to the Tacony Corporation 60th anniversary web log. Ever since the day Nick Tacony began his fledgling sewing machine parts business in 1946, our focus has been on the customer. Naturally it was easier to talk to every customer when they would all fit into one room.
Over the years, our business has grown from a one-man local operation to an international business with hundreds of employees. Today, our customers number in the thousands and one-on-one conversation gets a little more complicated. In honor of our Diamond Jubilee year, we've created this blog. Our purpose is to provide you with information that will help you run your business more profitably, and to get your feedback on what we can do to make your job easier.
The bottom line is that this blog is about you; your problems, your concerns, the things that keep you up at night and the things that make you get up in the morning. We want you to let us know what's on your mind. Good or bad, we can take it.
Most entries will be posted by yours truly, your humble blog master. But, watch for special guest bloggers who will post on their particular areas of expertise. Even our senior executives will be dropping by from time to time, and they've promised me that they'll follow what you're saying and take it to heart.
You'll be able to comment on every post and you're always welcome to make suggestions about topics that you'd like us to cover. Just click on the email link. It's your ideas and comments that will make this blog a success.
Our corporate Mission Statement, posted on the left, calls on all of us at Tacony Corporation to "build long lasting relationships that are based on trust and feel like family." This blog is just one more way that we're doing that.
HI,
I HAVE A SUGGESTION, WHY DON'T YOU EMAIL YOUR MONTHLY SPECIALS TO EVERYONE,I WOULD LOOK AT IT MORE OFTEN IF YOU WOULD EMAIL IT.

Paul,
That's a good suggestion. I'll pass it along to the marketing department. Thank you for your input.

Doug Fleener pointed me this way. He told me that you were looking for some SEO help. My company, www.spinshark.com works with smaller businesses to create great content, drive more traffic, and grow your business. I'd love to chat to see if we might be a fit.
Thanks,

After managing a successful (nationally known) sales and service center, I'm exploring options in starting my own store or exploring possible career opportunities in field sales with the 60 yr old - US made company Toncony.
Can you assist?
